Thank you, I was not aware of this option at all. It seems very limited for the free plan (as you said), i.e. when the rate exceeds 10secs, it can block for 10secs. Those are the ONLY optionsYou can try the Rate limiting section in CF. Haven't used it but you are going to want to specify requests for index.php, viewtopic.php and viewforum.php. e.g. don't add file.php because that can generate dozen of requests per page. Not sure what a good limit is but certainly 5 requests in 10 seconds is probably a bot. On the free plan this tool has limited value because it only blocks them for ten seconds.
