The conversion is from VBulletin 4.2.x to phpBB (3.0.11?); That requires a PHP version suited for phpBB 3.0.11.Not sure what the best approach here is. I've found some old threads/posts that show a possible conversion tool that converts vBulletin 4.2.x to PhpBB 3.0.x (Mostly 3.0.11) and then from there updating the new PhpBB 3.0.x (3.0.11 ?) to the latest version of PhpBB.
Is this the steps that need to be done.
It also seems that in order to do this I will need to run PHP 5.x to do the conversion initially? Then upgrade to PHP 7.3+ once I get it to 3.0.x and then continue on to 3.3.x? Or should you incrementally update from 3.0.x to 3.1.x then 3.2.x then 3.3.x?
In order to upgrade, you'll need to switch to a PHP version suited for 3.3.
I do suggest you update the 3.0.11 to 3.0.14 and then use the STK to sanitise the database before starting the upgrade.
BTW : since the whole procedure requires switching PHP version, this is best done on a personal webserver.
