[3.3.x] Support Forum • Posts changed to 'guest' ?? can't delete ??

Hi all,

Some time ago, I had added a post in my forum and at the time, it didn't seem to format itself or the added image correctly, so I attempted to Edit it .... BUT ... I could Not !!??

For some strange reason, it had changed the 'Author' from myself to 'Guest' and when you attempt to edit it you are told it doesn't exist ??
Somehow, I ended up with 2 x identical posts, (methinks there was something odd about the image I was trying to post, so I gave up.

I tried to Delete the posts but, as mentioned above can't, as according to the forum software, the 'posts' don't exist,.. yet, ... there thay are.

As these were in my Admin' section, I wasn't overly concerned but a while ago, I was editing a post made by a friend, (basically massaging what he had written and adding some pics) and a similar thing happened, although this time, I have 3 x non editable / deletable 'posts',.. yet I Did manage to create the edited 'copy' I wanted to, without further issue.

I have been the Admin' of the forum since about 2009 and been through updates Host changes and Hacking in the past but since re-installing this on the new host's servers and upgrading, have Never had this 'issue' before, or since, so I have NO, idea how or what caused this.

As it's been quite a few months since this 'event' I am not particularly concerned about it re-occurring per se but am simply wondering how I might go about Deleting the 'posts' ???
