[3.3.x] Support Forum • PHP versions

I am running board version v3.3.12 and php version 7.3.33

Should I be using a higher version of php for optimal use?

Edit: my ACP states php 7.3.33 but my cPanel states v 8.2 is being used, now I am confused.
