I need for registered users to upload attachments that are documents such as .doc, .pdf and .xls. I have the "Attachment settings" within the ACP adjusted appropriately. Ive been trying to work with the "Manage attachment extensions" features under the POSTING tab, but it isn't clear how that works (i.e., the difference between "Archive" and "downloadable", etc).
No matter what I do, I cannot add a document to a post through the "Attachments" feature in a post. When I click on "Add files", document files cannot be seen within my desktop folders.
Can someone advise me on this? Is there a tutorial on the phpBB forum that can help me get a better understanding of this matter?
